Chief Data Center Software Architect
Dror Shenkar is the Chief Architect in Intel’s Data Center Management Software group. In his current role, Dror defines architecture and requirements for Intel® Data Center Manager products portfolio, drives power/thermal/health management and energy efficiency awareness in large datacenter customers, drives pilots and deployments for Intel DCM at customers, and evangelizes device level power management technologies in the DCIM ecosystem. He joined Intel in 2001 and over the past 16 years has taken part in the development of several software products targeted to add value for Intel platforms in terms of power efficiency, manageability, thermal management, health management, security, and reliability. He has extensive industry experience in datacenter energy efficiency and power/thermal/health management, cloud, virtualization, datacenters design and operations, infrastructure management, and new trends in system architecture, design and development. Dror earned his BSC degree in Computer Science from Haifa University in Israel.
