About This Conference

DCD >Colo + Cloud is the global IT business and technology leadership forum for those who offer 3rd-party hosting, colo, telco, cloud data center, and managed services provision.

The opportunity for those investing in and supplying technology to this third-party IT services market is huge.

To accommodate the explosion in cloud capacity, colos are stepping up to offer space while also continuing to service enterprise data center requirements. At the edge, telcos look set to clean up with their extensive interconnects and access to mobile devices.

To find out which technologies will make the difference join us in Dallas for 30+ hours of pre-conference tutorials and workshops, high-level briefings, and 'Big Discussions' and thought-leadership conference programing.

Attendance is free to pre-qualified infrastructure technology and business management executives and operational professionals who apply before August 4, 2017.

DEFINING THE EDGE

LEADERSHIP ROUNDTABLES

Monday, September 25, Fairmont Dallas

Registration/Luncheon Keynote (11:30am – 12:45pm)

Roundtables (1:00pm to 5:30pm, followed by DCD>Colo+Cloud Welcome Reception)

The “big three” of digital transformation today, Content Delivery (streaming, interactive), IoT (in the broadest “Everything” sense and Mobile Devices (5G, IPv6) are driving massive new data streams for network edge compute. The IT infrastructure stack layers are being designed in radical new ways to meet this exponentially growing new demand. And so, too, are the physical mechanical and electrical infrastructure system designs being challenged. There more variants in edge compute data center design/builds today as there were variants in the entire mission critical industry of a very few years ago.

This by-application-only series of thought-leader delegate roundtable conversations is for senior executives and engineering/technology professionals from the full-stack data center and cloud end-user eco-system communities looking to better understand the challenges and opportunities on the high-velocity edge of business and industry change.

WHAT DO OUR DELEGATES SAY?

The dilemma for all IT organizations is not whether to change the way they do things, but which of the new paths to take. [This] conference programme embraces the need for a much more holistic discussion about the future of data center and cloud infrastructure that I am sure will help people make better informed decisions.
