Gary is a Data Center Principal Engineer at Verizon Wireless, responsible for technical support, operations improvement, and energy conservation in various major national data centers. His experience includes engineering design, consulting, and commissioning of mission critical cooling systems for US and international telecom and financial data centers, some of which have been LEED certified. Gary has been responsible for managing MEP design teams, as well as being instrumental in project management of green field and retrofit of mission critical infrastructure systems, including architectural, structural, MEP/FP, and construction coordination. He has also taught seminars on sizing and selecting data center mechanical systems at Georgia Tech for Data Center Journal. Among decades in HVAC design, installation, and operations, Gary has shared his experience working for EYP Mission Critical Facilities, Cosentini Mission Critical, Exxon Research & Engineering, Hanson Professional Services, and other major design consultants in the New York metropolitan area. In addition to having PE licenses, Gary is a certified Data Center Design Professional.
