Sr Architect, Cloud Computing
Craig White has been participating in the telecommunications and computing revolution from divestiture and the PC revolution. He has had a part in designing, building and operating many large scale networking and computing facilities, including a highly scalable cloud computing system, multiple MPLS enabled global Internet backbones, and several Unix based supercomputers. He has been employed by both service providers and networking vendors such as Level3 Communications, Juniper Networks, British Telecom, and Nokia. In 2009, he deployed a combined compute, storage, and networking system housed in an ISO shipping container into a large central office, thus ushering in the age of the telecom cloud. He currently provides his expertise to Telecom Operators around the world to help them reduce TCO while meeting the challenges of exploding network traffic.
