EU Energy Lead, Global Infrastructure
Marc Oman is part of the business team responsible for Google's data centers location strategy and global energy portfolio. He is in charge of managing power supply to Google's data centers in Europe. In this capacity he negotiates renewable power purchase agreements and energy supply agreements for Google's data centers in Scandinavia, the Benelux region and Ireland.
Prior to Google Mr. Oman worked at Renewable Energy Systems ("RES"), a leading renewables developer, owner and operator. There he developed and financed renewable energy assets in Sweden, France and Italy, and in 2013 was a key contributor to the listing on the London Stock Exchange of a new renewable infrastructure fund (yieldco) called TRIG.
Mr. Oman has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is based in Paris and is a dual French-American citizen.
